here.... but i'm not here
I'm on a hunt to get the best prducts from these two brands and such. What are your favorites, so I can konw what to get?

I liek the Garnier Long and Stong shampoo and conditioner. it's is very good and it smells nice too. And it really does make the hair sleek and shiny.

Never tried anything from john Frieda except for the serum and it wasn't all of that.

Get the Garnier Fructis Long and Strong anti-split ends leave-in treatment. Its a creamy leave-in that smooths your hair so there are no tangles.

I'm not a particular fan of either line of product, and that's only because they do nothing for my hair type (very wiry and coarse 4b). But, they may be great products and work just fine on you. *shrugs*

The nice thing is you can purchase samples of John Freida's products and try them out before committing to full-size products. I've haven't seen samples of Garnier in stores, but I'm sure you may be able to find them, too. Some BSS will give them away for free or charge a small amount. If you're feeling adventurous, definitely try them out!! :) :)

If you go to garnier's website you can request samples. That's how I got them.

I am not a fan of John Freida products but I recently tried the Rehydrate deep conditioner and man I was impressed! The consistency is unlike any conditioner I've used and it has a really good slip to it. It smells soooo good.

Fructis is a good line. I like the Long and Strong shampoo and conditioner. They both left my hair feeling soft and moisturized. The shampoo is very creamy and thick, I really liked it.

I like John Frieda's Smoothing Conditioner and Wind Down Relaxing Creme. I like Garnier Frutis Sleek and Shine conditioner and Wet Shine Gel.

Has anyone tried the Garnier soft curl cream, hard curl gel, curl construct mousse or the curl shaping spray gel?
I tried the GF Soft Curl Creme. It did nothing for my hair :( After all the rave reviews I really had high hopes for this one. Too bad. Maybe I did something wrong. I just didn't like the way my curls came out.....very frizzy. I had to use another gel over it didn't help much. I have pics of the results in my fotki in the last folder (forgot the name, lol).

my little sister tired fructis reworkable gum yesturday- its a winner! its REALLY good- it helped to keep her curls back and it didnt go hard at all, just pure waves and her hair usually has side frizz (she so cute) lol! ill be testing it out on mine next week.

Aww!!Thanks for the review. Sorry to hear about your experience with the soft curl creme. Maybe you could try a serum or a little carrier oil to control the frizz. I am itching to try the curl construct mousse, curl shaping spray gel or the wet shine gel but I might wait before I try it because I have some other products that I want to use up.

i have the soft curl cream, don't really care for it, it was too gooey and left my hair dry, i should have experimented with it more but i did not like the consistency at all, too messy!:(
