What are cones? I am assuming silicone but I'm not sure. Are they bad for your hair? This is why we clarify right? What products have it in them? Serums? I'm so confused. Help me ladies...

Cones=Silicones. Conditioners, heat protectants, shampoos, leave in conditioners, moisturizers can have them in the product. They are suppose to coat the hair strand and ideally protect it, also add smoothness and shine. Some cones condition the hair. Do a search and you will find all you ever wanted to know(and then some) about cones on this board.
