I purchased the S-curl activator to keep my hair moisturized and noticed that my hair was stiff today. What can the matter be?

I have that problem when I use any product that is high in glycerin. Some folks hair can't take it. I stay far away from glycerin. The few times I tried, I got hard or sticky hair that dried out quickly. I also found my hair attracted dirt(which may account for the dry stickey feel). It just may not work for you...

sweetcocoa, I use pure glycerin & water mix on my hair with no stiffness. Actually, it's the only thing that works to moisturize my hair all day. I tried the s-curl activator too and before my hair had dried,it was already stiff. I thought glycerin worked for everyone, but I guess not

I also tried pure glycerin from the healhfood store and although it didn't make my hair hard right away...it felt hard later in the day. I still have a the full bottle I brought. I guess I just can't use it.
