I'm almost finished with my WGO and I got a sample of the carrot oil when I bought the temple balm. I used the carrot oil last night and loved the smell and the way that it tamed my fly-away ends. WGO on the other hand is very good, but I think I can get a little heavy-handed with it and sometimes my style only lasts a day or two.

Which is best for breakage and moisture?

NOTE: Please do not hijack this post and turn it into a "versus"...I've already had one post taken over by a Michael Jackson fanatic (wonder if that person is MJackson...hmmmmm? /images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Thanks in advance

Sorry Crysdon, but that was so funny. I had to laugh. /images/graemlins/grin.gif sorry. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

well others have raved about a lil WGO with ORS carrot oil. i havent tried that BUT i for breakage AND moisture i like jojoba oil mixed with hollywood beauty carrot oil. its excellent and jojoba is known to improve hair (and skin)elasticity with consistent use. HB has 'hair' amino acids and 4 essential oils plus it is water based.

Crysdon, in my opinion both work great for breakage and moisture. You can't go wrong. Maybe you can mix a few drops of WGO in with your ORS Carrot Oil (thanks LondonDiva!). I can't rank one above the other, since I love them both so!!

hope this is not a stupid question, Iam somewhat new here and I dont know about many products

what is WGO?

thanks /images/graemlins/drunk.gif

Pebbles, now that I look at it...it is quite funny /images/graemlins/laugh.gif. I guess I'm trying to find a polite way to remind us all to remain focused on the topic and not go all off into left field.

OK, I think I'll mix them both. I just thought that one was better than the other.

Another question:

Is Hollywood Beauty carrot oil least expensive or more than the ORS? I need new carpet and I have to cut corners like a mug /images/graemlins/grin.gif.

HB costs about a third of the price of ORS carrot oil. But apparently the cost is worth it for those who love it! like LD for example.

I think for Moisture it would be ORS Carrot Oil, It was water and softerners, whereas WGO is strictly oil.

Cysdon, combine the 2, believe it or not. ORS is a great product but it's even better with 10-15 drops of WGO mixed in with it. This way you get the best of both worlds. Sometime limiting yourself to just one thing is not always the best thing. I only discovered this after the ORS had a slight dry feel after using it on my hair and after paying that price I was damned if I was going to throw it away. A few others, who I've shared the tip with seem to love the WGO & ORS Combo.
