Wet set? How to

Have very thin and compliant hair. I Think it's about a 3b?maybe. It's curly but silky looking with some texture. I want to know if it's possible to set my hair so that it's straight without using heat. When I brush my hair down and let it airdry the top goes silky straight. How can I apply this effect all the way to the ends? Any help would be appreciated. :)

I'll post pics of my hair as soon as I take some

That's how my hair looks at the end of today. I wet it and put a little conditioner and brushed it into a banana clip and let it air dry.

You'd have to braid, twist, or do something to manually smooth your ends...which experience is telling me it's going to be a PITA trying to do that all of the time. If it doesn't lie flat on it's own, then mostly like it just won't.

I think I understand what you are asking.

My hair can get reasonably straight without heat altho my ends need a little help. So how I deal with it is, use that to my advantage to minimize the amount heat I need to straighten my hair. I can air dry, then brush to get it mostly straight then flat iron lightly to finish it off.

I know in my case, I still need a bit of heat to get completely straight so I suspect you will need to as well.

Maybe banding.... Like section pony tails and then put some bands a reasonable distance apart until you get to the ends
