I was wondering if the generic products are as good as the originals, I liked the price but I don't want to sacrifice the quality of the product for a couple of bucks.

Have you used them? what do you think?

I'm cheap....um I mean frugle (sp)... and I use the generic Nexxus. For me it seems to be just as good as the real Humectress. My hair feels just as soft and moisturized as it does when I use the real thing. That's the only one that I've tried, so I don't know about the others.

When I'm really low on funds (most of the time:)) I use Sauve Professionals Humectant, and it's great.

I've had both the generic humectress and the real and I didn't see a difference but I know some people say there is a difference.

After a few months into my longhaircare journey I started using SALLY'S Generic Value Product Nexxus Humectress and my hair loved it ! I saw it in a hair album of one of the feature of the month's hair albums-- I think it was Lorraine -- and I tried it. Eventually I went ahead and purchased the Liter size with pump of the real deal NEXXUS Humectress. I have a totally different hair regimen now so I do not use either one but my hair responded well to it when I did use it.

I used nexxus generic brand when I was low on cash and it didn't work for me at all, it smell different everything I come to the conclusion that's the reason its generic, so if I don't have money to get the real thing I'll just buy suave or something.

I've used some of them, and some of them are not as good while others are. The Humectress seems to be as good, but the Therappe isn't. The PM Tea Tree poo is as good, but the con isn't. The PM Detangler sometimes is and other times isn't.

their detangler is the generic of paul mitchell the detangler, and is just as good as the original. other goodies are smoothing conditioner (matrix sleek look) & concentrated leave-in treatment (sebastian potion 9). also they're inexpensive enough to give a try & not break the bank.

for me the paul mitchel products worked pretty muchteh same. I had been using the shampoo and condition. i havent tried the others

Jesus! U read my mind! I did the same thing yesterday at Sally's.

I tried Nexxus Humectress way back when and it worked alright for me. I have since tried Suave Humectant, and that stuff wonderful. I use it anyday over Humectress. :) So, in this case the generic worked better for me than the name brand, and the price isn't shabby either.

I have been wanting to try those products but was hesitant, guess the only way to find out is to go and get somethin!!

I like the Suave humectant and the Generic Humectress. The Suave one doesn't have mineral oil like the generic one. More than likely will not be buying the generic one again but sticking with Suave since it does the same thing and for a cheaper price.
