And I'm so glad I did. I could almost hear my strands cussing me out after using African Pride.
I also managed to use one jar this time instead of two so my budget is VERY happy!

Phyto for life, just tried it this past weekend, Index 2, putting up pics tomorrow, my hair didnt feel fried, it had much bounce and body!! I'm not going back to anything else!!

got my first phyto relaxer ordered mine from ebay for 51.00...im excited about putting it in..i got the phyto 1..i hope it does my hair better than any relaxer that ive had before..i cldnt handle the affirm for some reason maybe because it was lye.ill just have to use it for my sister...because my hair dried out from using the affirm and wld always look nappy and awful looking...im just trying to condition my hair and new growth for right now..

So phytorelaxer is still a good relaxer? I was waiting a few months to see if the initial "I love it" feelings had worn.

why is this relaxer so good?
is it no lye?
i work out a lot so my hair grows fast and my relaxers don't seem to last long. should i consider phyto?

I'm considering it for a touch up in Decemeber. But if I only use half of the relaxer for my touch up will I be able to use it later down the line for a touch up after that? What I mean is, what is the shelf life of the relaxer after it has been opened?

I have an admission: I really didn't want to believe phyto was that great but .... I tried it, then went back to Mizani, then came back to Phyto. For *my* hair, it really is that good. I got mine from www.pollyandco.com for $48. It came really fast and she included lots of good phyto samples.

Yep, this is the $60 relaxer but it is worth it imho.
It is no-lye.
Personally I need the whole jar for a touch-up (relaxing every 13 weeks). But you can use just half the jar per instructions.
It is so good because your hair doesn't feel dead and dry after you use it. It is still soft and feels good.
I hear the shampoos and conditioners are great but I don't think I will use them. I don't think I can spend that much on everyday maintenance products. (Well, maybe I'll just buy ONE shampoo and conditioner. :D )

I used Phyto Index II for the first time in August, up until then I hadn't had a relaxer in 2 years...It's a great relaxer...But this is my problem...From prior fear of relaxing, I only left it on for 10 minutes (the minimal time) & I didn't apply it all the way down to my ends, just 3/4 the way...So now I feel as though my hair tangles in that area when I wash it...any SUGGESTIONS for when I plan to retouch in December....Any good detagling methods/products ...I didn't want to apply the relax all the way to the ends for fear of breakage, but now detagling is an issue...any help would be greatly apprecaited ladies... : )

i finally used my phyto I relaxer on Sunday...it came out really good...thanks everyone for the suggestions for phyto..ive joined the club...and this is the only relaxer i will for now on using

Do you have pictures of your hair after doing the relaxer?
