$72 bucks :thud:

Let me know how it works

Yeah, right? It must last a whole 2 years with repeated and consistent usage... I was bored and needed to buy something to cheer myself up, so why not? You know about me and how I can spend....

I will post the results after I get it. Remember I am a WEN lover so I might be a little biased.

You and charmtreese make me sick :lachen:

Ya'll already got me feenin for that dang cleansing conditioner. I thought THAT was expensive! $72??? my dh will look at me like I done lost my mind!

But I want it! It sounds so good! When will you get it? I wanna read your review, so I can have a hairgasm and imagine it's me using it :lachen:

(Thank you again for the Kenra! I didn't use it right the first time, but now I'm in love. It's my baby :yep: )

I broke down and ordered some too, like JN said if it's half as good as the other products, it's more than worth it!!

I've used it and I love it. I was wondering when this would be sold seperately, because it came in the kit offered on his website. But I'll be honest, it's just like using a thicker version of the Wen cleansing conditioner. I guess you could call it a protein treatment because it says to use every 6 weeks, but you can also leave it on overnight so it may not be. I wouldn't pay $72 for it though. Yikes!

No, it's definitely not a protein treatment, not according to the ingredients above. :nono:

You got one up on me January! But you know I hurried to the WEN website after reading your post! The lavender Mask looks like it would be yummy!!! Which one did you get?

Currently I'm using Jessicurl Weekly moisturizing treatment (as a hair "mask") with great results! I am a dedicated WEN fan...but dang Chaz is really going for the wallet at 18 bucks an once...Ooooch!!!!!

Let me know how you like it, I may have to budget it into August hair expenses!!! :look:

I guessed he changed the formulation. Here are the ingredients on mine:
Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Chamomila Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Prunus Serotina (Wild Cherry) Bark Extract, Rosmarinus Oficinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Gardenia Tahitensis Flower, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Panthenol, Butylene Glycol, Amodimethicone, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Polysorbate 60 Almond Glycerides, Citric Acid, Methylchlorisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinon, Menthol, Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal, Annatto (CI 75120).

Hopefully when my next shipment comes July 1st, the ingredients will be different. That way I can try it without paying that exorbitant amount.

Is this from the WEN infomercial. I know they had a mask included and I thought the kit was like $30. I typically buy the conditioners on QVC b/c they are cheaper.

It is, but apparently they've changed the ingredients; they seem better though :yep: You're actually paying almost $400 per year if you continue to get the system for a year because I get charged $97.80 every 3 months!
($29.99 per month + $7.95 one-time shipping fee 4x a year).

The Moist Hydrating Mask was just released on June 11th, it's not the same as the styling cream that comes with some of the products. This is what was written about it:

Chaz is making available for the first time, to the public, an exclusive formula he has been using on his celebrity clients for over 15 years - the WEN Re-Moist Hydrating Mask, in Lavender, Cucumber Aloe, Sweet Almond Mint and Fig. This deep, intensive treatment, which may also be applied as an overnight conditioner, effectively re-hydrates hair to a healthy shine. Finally there's the WEN Styling Crème; a weightless, paraben-free formula for manageable styling while eliminating frizz, and adding shine and volume to hair while acting as a protective barrier from humidity and the damaging heat of styling tools

Even the one listed above isn't a protein. Just because a conditioner has protein in the ingredients, it doesn't necessarily make it a "protein conditioner" or "protein treatment."

You are welcome for the Kenra. It was fun to do the card/gift exchange :yep:.

I purchased the Fig, and I also purchased the Lavendar Cleansing Conditioner and Body Oil based on your recommendation Charmtreese.
The Lavendar Oil is new too so I had to get that too. :ohwell:

No disagreement here about the cost factor ladies, but when I saw it, I just had to try it at least once. :look:

Thanks for posting this Coffee. I might have to try the styling creme too one day.

I tried it (Sweet Almond Mint) and it felt like a protein treatment. My hair
was so tangled and kinda hard feeling. I don't know if I had the wrong one
but my scalp didn't feel clean & it was still itchy afterwards. I'm not sure about
this product for me, the only product that works well is Keracare shampoo & humecto.
However, I'd thought I try a "non-shampoo" to replace the abrasive shampoos. Is the fig better?

Are you talking about the Cleansing Conditioner or the Mask?
It seems from your post you are talking about the Cleansing Conditioner.

I use the Fig cleansing conditioner and I just ordered the WEN Hydrating Mask in Fig. Fig is recommended for ethnic hair as it is the most moisturizing of all his "flavors."

I just ordered the Lavender Cleansing conditioner and Oil.

Bump. Any results from the mask ladies?

It's good stuff, but for the price point, you can get the same results from the regular Wen Cleansing Conditioner. :yep: If you have the money and want to treat yourself ,go ahead. I liked it very much!

It's not BAD but I've used other things that left my hair with more.....heeeeyah!!!!!!

I have the sweet almond mint set, and I mixed the conditioner with the deep treatment, put it on my hair with a plastic cap and then a scarf (had to go to the gym for my class!) and ended up rinsing 3 hours later but my hair did feel soft!

Thank you JN and Empressri! I'm going to try DCing with the cc first (just ordered fig) and then if I feel like I need a little more I'll try the fig mask.

I just received my Oyin goodies from curlmart.com and they sent me a free 4oz jar of this re-moist hydrating mask in "cucumber aloe". To tell you the trust it doesn't smell much like cucmumber aloe at all... it actually doesn't smell all that great :/. Keep in mind though... I just ordered OYIN GOODIES... maybe I'm biased :).

Anywho, has anyone else used this with good results? I am (almost) intersted in trying it. If so, how did you use it?

TIA

72 bucks????? :thud: I will never own it... lawdy...hope it works for you

O.K., so I am truly a PJ.

Here's what I bought just this week:

L'Occtaine repair shampoo, conditioner, and mask
10 and 1 Miracle Mask
Haitrition repair
More Silicon Mix (I ran out)
Komaaza stuff

Boy, oh boy...

I'll have to wait 'til next pay period for this stuff. I simply can't justify it, but I want it, along with that Sweet Almond WEN Cleanser. I already have Fig. :hide:
