Thursday night after reading so many helpful post I can say taht I successfully relaxed my hair, it is straight, but not bone straight. The last couple of times that I tried I underprocessed it being too concerned about overprocessing it.

This time I took the time to base my scalp and edges and I took my time. I used PCJ relaxer and it came out very nicely and my ends are not frizzy and I don't have any breakage. Any relaxing I did a deep conditioner with a little heat and wet set my hair and air dried.

Now if only I could just learn how to wrap and trim my own hair I would be alright.

Thanks ladies for all of your help.

It is soo nice when stuff works out huh? Congrats, on your hair!

I'll try one more time after my braids before I give up though...

Yay! I'm fixing to self relax with the lye version of this relaxer next week. I hope it all works out for me too.

It was scary wasn't it. You are braver than me. I had to stop because I kept overprocessing my already fine limp hair
