Can someone give me more information on hair weaves? I'm thinking about getting one and I was trying to see what are the best kinds to get and how long they lasts. I would also like to know does it keep your natural hair from growing. Thanks in Advance.

It depends on what kind of weave you want. If your getting braids then kanekalon, or natural braiding hair-not tracks for sewing. If your hair will be braided and then a weave sewn on the tracks, human hair closest to your own texture would work you can always ask before you buy.

Make sure when you get your weave you don't use that chintzy hair you can buy in a package at a beauty shop. if you get a weave you dont want it to look tacky like some ladies weaves are. I suggest you go to a place called Lugo's if you are in NY (I think they have one in Florida too) where you can buy top grade human hair. Make sure the stylist knows what he or she is doing too
