Weaves -can you wash your own weave at home?

I just got my first weave!! And I love it. The stylist said I would have to come in to get it washed. But can't I wash it at home?

Yes, it is a regular sew-in. And I felt she just wanted $$$ And I have no more money to give her

so... I will wash it in the next week or so and see how it goes . thanks

yes i wash mine every week. i do it the same way i would wash my regular hair
