I want to get a sew in with that Indian hair that is curly but can be flat ironed too... It is 300.00 for 2 packs Does anyone know of another product that is just the same but cheaper? Please list your product and a possible website and price. The hair looks similar to the pivture below. I am a first time weaver and do not want to spend 300.00 my first time around. :nono:

Well yeah that is pretty steep. You could work your self in by using a BSS brand. The Outre Premium Indian Disco Curl, is similar to that muuuch cheaper. They have info on thier website about it. Then if you like it then you can move up to the expensive stuff.

I used to get my hair from couturehairdesigns.com. I only used to use 1 pack (4 oz.) Bcause that is what looks realistic on me. It was about 125 a pack. I am not sure what you are looking for as far as thickness and length. But they are really good about getting you a quality product and it lasts a LONG time. You can use it for as long as you want if you take care of it. I used to keep it straight but, the curly looks beautiful too.

Hope This Help YOU!!!
:)

ooh op that hair in the pic is pretty. i have in virgin indian curly hair that i got from www.sunnyshair.com. depending on what length you want you should be able to get a full head (8oz) for under $300. mine was $368, but i have in 22"...also look at it as an investment...you can reuse this hair for a year or more. i'm taking down the install in my avi and reusing all the hair in a couple weeks. black diamond has a somalian wave that is really pretty. i've never worn it but have seen it on someone and they wore it curly and straight...it is def much cheaper than indian hair. good luck!

Please use caution when purchasing curly hair. It can become a huge mess if the hair is not good quality. I have been wanting to try Bohyme Egyptian Curl (i think that is what it is called) it looks really natural curly and flat ironed, like natural textured hair, but I also know that this hair is prone to shedding so you should seal the weft first. Some curly hair, like the Bohyme, gets really big so some people only need one pack (4 oz.) but if you have never had a weave before I would really recommend doing some research over at BHM. When you don't know what your doing weaves can be very damaging. Done well they can protect your hair and help it grow. But there is so much involved (sealing wefts, splitting wefts, braid pattern, under weave hair care, etc.) you owe it to your hair to know what your getting into.

Unfortunately, good hair is gonna cost. Weave, particularly curly ones are a get what you pay for situation. If you want it too look natural, then you are gonna have to fork over the cash. But the good thing, you can reuse it.
You can order some weft hair from china and spend about 120 for two packs of curly hair that is good length like that, plus a good closure piece. spend about 100 to install it and then look good for three months. You can take the hair down and reinstall it...

Thanks ladies I am getting somewhere now... Any take on staright weave what is a good kind that does not get all tangled up?

Try Halleyscurls.com, bellenoirhair.com or allaboutmyhair.com . They have the prices that are a little bit cheaper depending on the length. Or look in the remy section of hairsisters.com. There are a few other places like wagmanhair.com, extensions-plus.com,indianhairs.com, naturegirl.net and that cost more but has really great hair if you are ever interested in spending more. I think halley's curls would be what you are looking for. The site might not look the best but the hair is really good.

Also what texture are you looking for? Indian Remy comes in virgin and processed. The virgin types come in straight wavy, and curly. The processed type textures are endless. I could help you out more if I knew exactly what you were looking for.

WOW! your hair looks very healthy and full...keep up the good work...how long are you leaving your hair down between sew-ins?
