I'm going in for a net weave, I know they still braid my hair but do they add some synthetic hair to my braids? Also, has anyone suffered stress or thinning of the edges from using sewn-in weaves?

The last weave I had was a net weave and extra hair was added because my hair was very short. depending on the length, extra hair will be added to the braid just to make it easier for the weaving process. I'm sure if you have a lot of hair its not needed. I didn't have any issues with my sides when I wore my net weave also.
