I like my nappy edges, but when I am in the mood to actually fuss with my edges, I use Fantasia IC ICE pomade and water. I use a fine tooth comb to lay it down, no scarf or anything. It lasts the whole day.

Thanks so much for this tip! I picked up some of this, and have been using it all week. I love the way it tames my edges w/o a hard crispy gel feeling. I especially like the ingredients, I was real suprised when I saw that it had castor oil in there.

I am with you here. I have found absolutely NOTHING that holds my edges down all day. Some stuff works for a few hours, but not all day.
