can someone explain what wave nouvea is, is it a perm or what?

also, does anybody know where i can see pictures of women with a wave nouveau style?

I had a Wave Nouveau for four years. A Wave Nouveau is a high-tech Jheri Curl. It is a double process chemical process just like a Jheri Curl.

The only real difference is that Wave Nouveau products are less greasy. Almost like a dry curl. I know that there will be some sistas on here that disagree with me calling a Wave Nouveau a "high-tech Jheri Curl" but I believe it is.

Hey AFashionSlave, I first heard of Wave Nouveau when I wore a Jheri Curl back in the late eighties/start of nineties. And I got the same idea as you, that it was a high-tech jheri curl that wasn't juice-dripping wet.
