I've tried some spray on watery detanglers and they have worked ok for my relaxed hair, but I'm wondering if this type of conditioner is effective for natural 4a hair? Who has given one a try on their natural hair and if so, which one?

i've heard the mane 'n tail detangler is good, but i haven't tried it myself. the thing that seems to work best for me is just putting on a handful of conditioner (mane 'n tail deep moisturizing conditioner) while i'm in the shower

, letting it sit for about a minute, then running my fingers (comb, etc.) through my hair. works like a charm.

Pantene Hydrating Curls or Pantene Smooth and Sleek work the best for me. Extremely detangling but I try not to overuse it because I don't want product buildup.

I personally hate watery detanglers for my hair(type 3c-4a), I use the mane and tail conditioner right now, but I heard it an be drying over time

I use mane 'n tail detangler. I find it workes best if my hair i slightly damp so i mist my hair with distilled water then with the detangler. I also like to use Nexxus Ensure or L'anza Detangler when i wash my hair. They are really good acidifying conditioners and they are great at adding extra slip to the hair if you comb your hair in the shower.
