water beads...

on my hair... what does that mean??...

it wasn't always like that... but now when i wash my hair, when i finish there are always beads of water just sitting on top... and my hair is airdrying super fast...

is that an indication of something being "off"?

after 2 years here, you'd think i know this by now...

Hmmm interesting....is that a possible porousity issue. I think....that means your hair is less porous, meaning that it doesn't absorb water into the strands much or quick enough. You might want to check out sistaslick's articles regarding the issue.

The last time I saw beads on my strands I just assumed it was product build-up. I just used a clarifying shampoo on the next wash and they were gone.

It could be product buildup or that your hair is not as porous as it used to be. The "new growth" would be affected more than the ends.

thanks ladies!!.. i'll clarify in the morning... and i just found my porosity control... maybe toss some of that in there... lol
