Disclaimer:I do wash my hair once a week NOW.
However, in the past before I had better haircare practices I used to just wash my hair whenever. Once when I had braids years ago I went an embarrassingly long time without washing. I mentioned it here once before, but it's too embarrassing to say again. Needless to say, it was longer than 3 weeks.
So other than my hair being dirty as all get-out, it was fine.

when i was a child my mom used to wash my hair like every 2/3 months... my hair grew and grew it hair was bra strap and VERY thick!!!
