Wash n' Go Tips

Okay, Ladies.
Here's the deal:
I have 3c/4a natural hair just past my shoulders. I usually flat iron my hair about once every 7-10 days and I am pretty satisfied with my results. I've gotten GREAT tips from this site.
What I'm looking for now is a style that allows me to just wash and go. I like the braid-out results that many of you have posted on here but to be honest, I'm too tired to braid it all up and then wait for it to dry. By the time I do all of that I could have just flat-ironed it. I know if I had a relaxer in my hair, it would probably be easier to do, but I'm really trying to avoid that route if possible.
I'm getting ready to go on a cruise and would love a style that would allow me to swim, come back to the room, wash it and put some kind of leave-in or something that would look great and as my hair dried would not leave me with a tangled afro. (That's generally the results I have gotten. The hair looks GREAT when I first start, and then by two to three hours later as it air dries it starts looking like a dried out poofy mess!)
I tried Miss Jessies in the past, but it didn't really work for me and I had to use way too much product.
So do you ladies have any suggestions? Any thing/products that have worked for you?
Please share and pics are ALWAYS great.
Thanks in advance.

I don't do WNGs so I have no advice based on personal experience BUT, have you tried KCCC yet with a leave-in underneath (or leave in some condish and squeeze the excess out)? Have you even wet set your buns? I love the puff look with a scarf to slick down the front (leave the scarf on though-very vacationey) You can still pull off a twist out with chunky twists on your last night or something for a different cruise look, the big finally LOL.
Practice at home before doing it on vaca....
Have fun!

Kinky Curly Custard (I'm missing a c somewhere here lol). Sold at Wholefoods now I hear...u can buy it online. Do a search to view results and read reviews.....

What i do is wash...apply leave in and an anti frizz serum...and let it air dry ( comb thru)....Then once is 80% dry i apply coconut oil and do a braid or two...is usually not frizzy
