Warning for Neosporin users

when i read that some ppl were putting Neosporin all over their scalps I immediately thought of the warning on the tube that reads, that it is not meant for large areas of the body,, all you're supposed to use is a pea sized amount or so on a cut so i would think the amount youd need to cover your head would be alot more and since it can penetrate the skin ,, who knows what effects it could reap,, be careful with this stuff

The Neosporin that is being used on the scalp is Neosporin AF or AP which is for athletes foot not the neosporin used for cuts its a different formula. The one that is being used on the scalp by some of the ladies on here is for antifungul purposes with the ingredient Moconazole Nitrate. HTH

Interesting, I've never heard of this.

Even if it is a dead horse, people on here advocate putting some of the craziest stuff in their hair, but I guess whatever works and to each his own.
