I got a flyer in the mail with a sister on the cover saying Get Your Shine On. So I’m thinking its coupons for Redken or something. Yeah, I know; I’ve been on this board too long. It was some coupons for relaxer. Anyway, I’m thinking. How did I get this coupon?
o I’ve never bought relaxer at Wallys
o This is Washington state not Chicago so it can’t be a mass mailing
o Did they get my name and address because I buy those plastic caps in the ethnic section on my bank card?

Are you on FB? They sell statistical information. Then companies can use your name to find your mailing address... Black? Woman? Tada! Relaxer coupon.

It's amazing how they have code labeled your bank card as...."black." I used to get coupons for Elgin Charles products. So they advertise and try to figure out who their potential buyers are...I just don't like them to attempt to "think" for me because I'm a complicated individual. I don't buy...."black"...I buy what I like at any given time and there's no color code to it.

Well if it's of any comfort I've bought a few relaxers at the wal - I did not get this coupon so they probably bought data from somewhere else. Don' be paranoid - if you were selling you might look for lhcf type profile.
