Thinking all my problems would be over

i've come across a next set of issues!!

forgetting that Adore Semi permanen colour gave me dryness before, i added a black rinse to my hair.

My hair is getting dry, and i also see knots popping up recently.

become i'm not much of a comber - i dont know how i can avoid them?

also, with this colour in my hair, should i do some co-washes - and shampoo less? Do more hot oil treats? before i waited it out, but i cant afford to do that now as my hair is at a length where i've always wanted it to be, and to honest i'm scared of losing this progress!

Any help appreciated!

My hair isn't WL, but it does sound like you need more moisture and a detangler from what you've said. Also co-washing will keep more of your moisture compared to shampooing a lot.

First off, congrats on making your goal to waistlength! I'm not sure what to tell you about the knots, i'm trying to keep mine at bay also. But for the color, i've always read that people should condition way more when they color, and i think shampoo can make the color fade more. You might have to moisturize more frequently too. Well thats my lil two cents lol, hope i helped.

Your hair is beautiful! I can't wait until I get to this length. When I had dry ends I con-washed. Is con-washing an option for you? If it is try putting your hair in a loose braid to avoid tangles. Then con-wash 2+ times a week for two weeks. Followed up with NTM silk and sealed with oil. I solved my dryness problem with this and I got hooked on daily con-washing. I'm sure you'll figure out the best method.

thankyou ladies!!

yes co-washing is ok with me during the warmer months, and maybe by winter, the colour will be gone anyway.

i'm thinking about detangling in the shower when covered in conditioner, i'm just scared i'll lose mo hair!

I would say if it's dry, to do more hot oil treatments for a while. I do mine with pure olive oil.

Candy C, your hair is beautiful!

Do you have much luck with baggying? Maybe baggying every night with a moisturizer sealed with oil might do the trick?

I can't wait to be waistlength one day. Congratulations on your progress.
