Y'all are sweet....

I should add that I went to the Aveda salon (I had posted before that I was debating between the Aveda place and the Dominican place). The process was basically the same, except the Aveda place was SPECTACULAR in look, size, etc. My stylist (Angie) was so sweet esp. since I was all panicky. When she started blowing it out and how easy it got straight, I simply couldn't believe it. She did run a flat iron through it really quick and went to curlers because I wanted a tighter curl (in case the curls fell out). She barely bumped it.

The products (Damage Remedy line) made my hair feel so good and not tangly AT ALL. And I was surprised at the cost (it was about half of what I thought it would be).
 
Amazing progress girlie - your hair is beautiful. Happy B-day enjoy, happy new year to you and all the ladies here as well!

RR, can you post a longer review of your Aveda salon concept? I am interested in hearing more about these places. also, if you remember any of the prices/products used can you post that info as well?

When you say you went to an Aveda salon, was it an actual Aveda salon or was it one of those concept thingies that is really like a 3rd party trained in the ways of Aveda?

Your hair looks great! I'm so glad you had a good salon experience, there are so many stories that have me too nervous and scared to ever step foot in a salon again
