I was just watching some show about women who dress in 50s attire on a daily basis. Hair and all. I forgot the name. But the whole time I was watching I was thinking, 'there are some bw who can do this so much better...' Lol. Terrible, I know.

Hope this thread takes off for you!

You can purchase snoods, fascinators, and Hair flowers from Etsy and Ebay for great prices. My favorite spot for hair flowers are Hairflowers.net and Unique vintage.com also snoods you can save big on these from coveryourhair.com

Saw this Easy Look and got inspired. All it takes is a nice headband, and a snood which will cost you like 5 bucks. Great for those bad hair days!!!

This is a cool thread! I have a few from the '60s. Technically not vintage, but these are still neat. I've unsuccessfully attempted all some of these to my dismay (I love these styles and I bought a lot of hair styling books/magazines from the '60s!) But then again I don't have a lot of hair left and I'm awful with rollers. Here are a few if anyone wants to give them a go.

^ These two are from a 1964 'TEEN magazine

^ Sorry the picture of the actual style isn't too good. I REALLY liked it though. The back has a bit of volume and it's swooped up at the end with pin curls, it looks really nice. This is out of a '65 or '66 Seventeen magazine.

^ Out of a 1968 Beauty Book
