i know that most of you ladies who do these use ACV, but i wondered if any old type of vinegar would work??? i have red wine vinegar, and contemplated trying it one day....

if only ACV is acceptable, could someone explain why??

Shatani, as far as I know ACV is a natural antiseptic and it's an agent that can be used for many things besides hair! Maybe you should do a Google search to learn more about it. HTH!

PS - I'm not sure about other vinegars for the hair though - I know regular vinegar works great on cleaning glass and windows...lol
