I totally don't get it:nono:...why are my ends sticking together like velcro???? I mean, it feels strong and looks to be in pretty good shape. But when wear it straight, my ends start sticking together and even catching on my clothes:wallbash:.

What's the deal here:perplexed

Your porosity could be off-for that I would use Roux porosity control or do an diluted ACV treatment. You may also want to check for midshaft splits

I was just going to say that. I didn't know the right word for it, I was think "elasticity" lol :lachen:

try a moisturizing deep conditioner too....it could be too much protein. i had this problem too, except it velcro all the way up the hair shaft.

You probably need to trim a little. When the structure of the hair is compromised, it often sticks to another strand for support. I would do a dusting and use something acidifying (the ladies previously already gave some suggestions) at my next wash.

When my ends get like that, I know it's time for a dusting. It's amazing what 1/4 of an inch trim can do :)

Update:

So last night I did a good moisturizing dc with Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol and today is an entirely different experience. I know that eventually I will need to dust, but for now I'm just enjoying the length (and keeping my fingers crossed for the best:) )

Thanks, ladies~
