Hie i hope this hasnt been discussed before. I tried the search engine and didnt find it. I picked this up from my local indian shop. Has anyone used this before and is it any good before i use it.
I've used it, my hair loves it
The ingredients are not the best, but its a great product.
I like to use it under my steamer. my hair feels soft, moisturized and bouncy for days!
I just got 1 of these. But i got the intensive nourisment. The ingredients are:aqua,cetrimonium chloride,cetearyl alcohol,myristyl alcohol,parfum,honey extract, hydogenated castor oil,marrow extract,egg powder,magnesium nitrate,magnesium chloride,methylchloroisothiazolinone,methylisothiazolinone,citric acid,CI 19140, CI 42080, CI 28440, CI73015,CI 16255, CI 14720
I dont know what any of those ingredients mean. I figured you guys could help me out.
Also is egg extract protein?
I used it today for the first time and I must say I kinda like it, I'm sportin' braids right now so I'd have to use it on my naked hair to really determine whether it's good or not, but so far so good.
I used the purple top version without the egg as a deep conditioner. I noticed after rinsing my hair retained water for a very long time as I twisted my hair.
I actually used this after washing my hair as a leave in for twists. I didn't have time to go purchase shea butter, so this worked and didn't leave a residue! It dried a little crunchy (I'm heavy handed) but I sprayed it with water in the morning and I'm good to go!
This line of products is now my staple. I will not use the ones mentioned in this thread because the ingredients are kinda crappy. However, they have products that are less crappy in the ingredients. Less, but not the greatest.
I have:
Egg Protein Mask--excellent reconstructor
Garlic Mask--for growth--can't speak on that yet (first use this week) but it was the slippiest of any DC I've used and my hair was moist for 3 days after
Havent tried their Black Seed or Lemon Masks... but I will!
I have both the hot oil and egg deep treatment. They both are good but I prefer the egg treatment because it adds moisture and strength to my natural hair.
It stopped the breakage that I had going on do to my hair becoming dry and brittle.
The hot oil is creamy and not what you would expect from a hot oil treatment.
I've tried all of them as a pre-poo under heat and they all did nothing. I had the same results with all of them. it feels like the exact same product in each one just packaged differently. I'm limited over here but Vatika and Dabur products are very popular here. They are still under the sink, I couldn't get the moisture and slip I wanted. I use Africa's Best mayo with honey my hair loves it.
Idk if they would work well as a prepoo. I think these are best left as DCers. The two I tried work wonders. The egg really does stop breakage and helps the hair retain moisture.
