If you had in a $200 weave for only 6 weeks and you know your SO would like to have you and your hair for V-day, would you cut it out. Thats the question!

I probably wouldn't get it if it didn't align with the V-day timeline. I'd probably try to get it in time enough where I could take it out by V-day, or get it after V-day.

But, if I just had to *have* the weave, then the SO might just have to suck it up and deal.

TSUB You look absolutely beautiful!!!

umm 6 weeks worth of wear out of a $200 weave.... hmmm and you said he is not going to reimburse you..umm well my s/o was short vday lol last year, my weave was in full effect and i was not taking it out just for one day lol soo i mean its trully a personal choice, I personally would not be taking that $200 weave out and my so HATES weave/wigs with a passion lol so it depends on how youll feel after vday is over bout takin out that $200 weave. if your cool with it and it makes you happy that it makes him happy then take it out!

There will be other Valentine's Days. I wouldn't take out my weave for it, especially if he wasn't springing for another install.

He didnt ask me to take it out but I know it would be like a super hot thing if I did. This is my first real Valentine's Day so I want to look my best.

But I am not trying to waste my money. I also didnt ask him to reimburse me. I know he would if I ask but I'd never ask.

Goodness, I think all this snow has got me really bored in the house.

I wouldn't take it out. How long do yo usually leave your weaves in for? I'm sure he could hold on for a few more weeks. My compromise might be leaving my hair out a little longer when I take the weave out if I were in your place.

I think I may be in the minority here with the exception for DLewis and Rocky, but I would take my weave out.
I think 6 weeks is enough time and I would love to make my man happy for Vday.
Plus your hair is off the chain and you know how men like to play in our hair sometimes.

:yay: I think you'll feel very special on your first real vday.:yep:

:giveheart::hug3: If it comes out really nice, Ill post pics.

Thanks Nikki, I just will have to forgo getting any more weaves anytime soon. I am ready to see my hair again anyway. :yep:

6 weeks is long enough I guess. I wouldnt see anything wrong with this since I wouldnt keep a weave in for longer than 8-10 weeks. IF you were only 1-4 weeks in I'd say heck no.

hmmm, I mean he can rake his hand through your weave (albeit gently) right?..lol, sure not as carefree as your own hair but Imjussayin...

I think SO would have to just suck this one up. Especially if it was still looking tight. But it's a personal choice.

Prisspot you are absolutely beautiful! Sorry op....

I usually become tired of my weave around the 6 week mark so I would take it out.

And I have learned there is nothing more sexy and feminine than having your man run his fingers through YOUR hair!

I saw do it! If not for him do it for your self just so that you can feel lovely :)
