Using flaxseed oil for a gel

Has anyone tried using the flaxseed oil as a gel or mixing the flaxseed oil with other ingredients to make a gel.

How did that turn out?

I've used flaxseed oil.....but its just that... an oil....I dont see how you can use it as a gel if it does not have a gel like consistency. Or maybe im not understanding what you're saying.

Thanks for clarifying I thought it had a gel like consistency but you say it is not so.
