I know none of you are strangers to an applicator brush, but i they were too large for just applying treatments to my scalp and not the hair shaft. One day while cleaning out my closet I came across and old art set full of paint brushes.

I thought hmmm..I could do something with these. I've been using them to apply egg yolk and mn to my scalp. It keeps my hand free of all of the mess and keeps the treatment right on the scalp ( not on the hair) right where I need it:yep:

Sounds interesting......keep us posted. I would like something to help me apply my MN better, but I guess I'll just have to keep at it the way I'm doing it now until I can find something better. The paintbrush idea seems good, but I'd find a smaller brush to use. You know, something like an artist's brush or whatnot:ohwell:

your exactly right. i think I will get a smaller one:yep:

Excellent idea!!! I like the idea of a paint brush. Plus, the hair on those brushes are much gentler than tint brushes. I think I will try that when doing a deep conditioner and saturate each strand ... like the Kerastase treatments they do in the salon.

Very smart idea, Lilamae- I can use that brush to apply my ayurevedic mixtures to my scalp!

BTW: your nails are so healthy :yep: .

great idea!!...i know this is going to sound dumb but is that MN mixed with the egg yolk? I notice that in my MN mixtures the MN always separeats out and I'm afriad the MN won't help me if it's doing that.

that's not a dumb question..I always put the egg yolk on first, then the mn. I don't attempt to mix. it's been working great for me. but I only use the egg yolk like once per week. I use mn every other day.

Great idea! What does the egg yolk do? If that's what has your hair looking so good I might start using it so please do tell.

I'm curious too! Do you rinse out the egg yolk, or leave it on until next shampoo??

hi guys, the egg yolk has sulfur in it which is also known to stimulate growth. It also contains protein and some people use a mix of mayo and eggs as a DC treatment that you wash out after an hour or so....

Warning: this stuff needs to be washed out the same day...If I put it on in the morning..I am washing it out at night. there is no damage to the hair ( only benefits) ..it just makes it very difficult to manage while it's on the hair:nono:. after washing you'll be fine:yep:

Yall be careful with this though, because some paint brushes are treated with chemicals.
