It was WONDERFUL. I know I wsa supposed to be going to 12 weeks, but my hair was not having that and I was experiencing breakage, so I couldn't take it anymore. So I think I will relax every 9.5 - 10 weeks.

Of course I was scratching my head during the week (You know how it gets when it's close to that time). Anyway, it didn't burn or tingle. The results were great. I also saw some growth I posted a pic after the relaxer and a one month comparison pic (I've only been here a month /images/graemlins/huh.gif )

So check it out. PhytoRelaxer is my STAPLE!!!! Well worth the money.

You've made a lot of progress in a month! /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Wow, you're making a rapid recovery!!! Very nice /images/graemlins/trampoline.gif. Happy you enjoy the PhytoRelaxer. I just touched mine up a week ago and I am a true self-relaxing novice, but I knew Phyto would compensate for my ignorance /images/graemlins/tongue.gif .

great growth.....you grow, girl.... i am so happy you like the phytorelaxer...it's the best relaxer i have ever used. /images/graemlins/bouncy.gif

Kaddy, I love your hair. I may have to dump Optimum Care and use Phyto! Nice growth, girly! /images/graemlins/up.gif

for all the positive feedback ladies. I didn't think my hair was growing, although my husband mentioned it to me a couple of days ago. (He also doesn't know I am on here like 23-6 (I do take a break from here SOMETIMES)./images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Thanks again, it makes me feel good /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

/images/graemlins/rofl.gif that made me smile. Thanks Ms. K

You got a significant amount of growth for one month /images/graemlins/smile.gif Keep up the good work /images/graemlins/up.gif

That's some great progress for a month. Keep it up /images/graemlins/up.gif Those comparison pics really let you see what all the hard work is for.

Thanks ladies. I think I failed to mention that I dusted my ends a couple of times (just 2, maybe 3, or was it 4 /images/graemlins/rofl.gif ) because I saw split ends. I don't think I took of more than a half inch (thats 1/2) And when I see split ends I get obsessive. The first time I dusted I went all around, later I would just look at a few strands and if I saw a split one, I clipped it.

WOW! And that's only in a month's time. Girl, i can't wait to see the growth in 6 months.

Me neither. Hopefully I will be like you when I grow up /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Between Digital Rain, Zuppy, Sengschick, Kaddy and what it did for SherryLove's hair...I am more and more intrigued...
I'm 90% leaning towards trying it for my next touch up...
that 60 bucks is a killa though... /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif
but I have gotten feedback that it'll be worth it...

WOW/images/graemlins/up.gif...that's amazing progress, and I'm with Mo, you ladies are going to make me a Phyto convert yet /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

LOL @Kaddy... /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I think you made awesome progress for only one month of comparison. Now, is this phytorelaxer the same as the Japanese straigtening system?

That Japanese straightening system uses high heat and harsh chemicals that is just too much for those with tightly curled hair.

Oh, OK. Thanks, CW. Well it's definitely NOT that.

I self texturized this morning with phyto relaxer index 2. I'm a novice and have some underprocessed parts but overall it was a good experience. I will not miss stylists one bit.

I'm going to try it next touchup! I'll save my pennies, buy a Phytorelaxer Index #2 kit, and do a thorough self-relaxer. (I've read that it's thick and hard to distribute throught the new growth.) Then I'll default to a Dominican salon for the rollerset and blowout.

It's not thick at all, it's actually looser, and a little runnier than most relaxers. It maybe harder to distribute for this reason.
