when you do your own sew in's, what kind of needle and thread do you use? quick response would be great.
 
Curved needle, black thread...available at your local BSS.... I tried to do a full head sew-in.... Jacked up the back.... I can do repairs/front parts alright, though....
 
yes you can get it at the bss, they have brown thread too, they normally keep it behind the counter so you will have to ask the sales clerk.
 
I use a curved needle and weaving thread from the BSS. They keep it behind the counter it costs $1. I've had people at the salon use a straight needle or a J needle with a hook on the end before. I just find the curved one easier to use when I'm doing my own weave.
