Since my BC and 1st texturizer on 05-24-05, I have reached my first goal of shoulder length hair. Next goal is bra strap. ;)

My hair is much thicker since I started to texturize and stopped relaxing my hair bone straight (this meant I had to stop going to my hairstylist who would relax my hair bone straight which caused it to thin overtime and suggested I come in for touch ups every 6 weeks  ...no more!).

You have pretty hair! I have to say though, the shorter curly style with the highlights were so cute! now your hair looks so thick and glossy! Love it!!!!

Nice job Ronda! I bet you'll be close to armpit length by summer!

Protect those ends!!!!! (we need a smilie for that statement)

You hair has grown! I love your texturized hair. Thanks for sharing. Are you still using MTG?

Thanks ladies!

I only used MTG on and off for about a month…I could not get use to the smell and it left my hair too greasy. I am back to using WGO and occasionally surge on my scalp. I believe what has really helped my scalp and hair is ACV rinses (acidifying the hair/making the cuticle lay down - helps in detangling and can also help seal in moisture and make the hair shinier, clarifys the scalp and hair - can cut down on itchy scalp).

I've tried this (the ACV rinse) and I'm not too sure what it did to my hair/scalp. I blowdried afterwards (which I try not to do) so maybe that made a difference in the outcome. I will try again on my next wash day and pay attention to the results. Happy Hair Growing!
