Yes, the time has come that I can get a doobie now! LOL. Just one of the things you longed hair dames take for granted. My hair is at the very top of my neck, about an inch short of where I want to be by Sept. 22nd. Go take a look. There's also a picture of my braids in there.

My stylist was great, again, very good service. She and I can also converse like old friends which I feel is important and comforting. She was very conscientous if I was burning, if the water was too hot and she didn't run through my hair with a fine tooth comb. No burns or scabs or stuck hair from over processing like the last stylist. My hair is very light and feels healthy. We discussed getting highlights which hopefully I will get in about three weeks- so look out for the update.

Wow!

Your hair looks great! It looks so healthy and thick. How have you been wearing your hair on a daily basis? how long did you wait before you relaxed again?

Looks nice lady. I like that cut on you. I am glad that you had a pleasant experience with your stylist.

Hahaha true! I never thought of that, good idea MsPortugal. But I don't think there's many ladies who did have my type of cut. So I guess you could say I was on a dolo challenge. I'd be happy to encourage and help anyone who's growing out a shaved cut.

OUAT- The micros helped me to stretch out my relaxer even longer so I could get that 'little bit' more of growth and she wouldn't have to bring out the razors. From my past two relaxers in April and May, the bottom of my hair would reach my neck but I shaved it so that it would like right growing back in.

KL- I promised myself no heat for 1 year- which is a risky decision with such short hair. When it was short enough, I would just wash & wrap. I would get Dominican blowouts or twist my hair in between relaxers. I would flatten the back with MegaHertz Shine Gel/Pomade. This time I went 3mnths. and 5 days before relaxing. I had the braids for 6 wks.

Regina- Thank you.

Great look! Your hair will take off now. When my back grew out you couldn't stop my hair. Pretty soon, your nape length will be a distant memory! It looks good.

You are well on your way

You've accomplished the first step of healthy hair, now you'll start to see more and more length. The shine looks really good too. Congrats!!

Thank you, I can't wait!

I'm not worried about getting to shoulder length (been there, done that LOL) I'm anxious to really start putting in some TLC when I get past that.

Eclipse- thank you. My next goal is collar bone after this (2005) LL7- I don't know how I got the shine? LOL. I just let my stylist do what she does.
