Ok you guys, I was feeling a little self-conscious about the sew in I got a couple days ago, i mentioned in this thread: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=369899, but I'm starting to like it now.

I think once I straightened it and styled it a bit, it started to look better. I think the huge curls I had at first made me feel iffy about it. Here are some new pics, I just took today after work on my Mac photobooth. Opinions are welcomed. I feel this is a good protective style for those (like me) who are natural who straighten a lot.

even though it looks a bit long from the pic, it's actually about BSL length. Nothing too drastic. Yes, some of my hair is out on the front and it blends well with the hair when straightened.

Dang, all these pretty weave photos makes me want to get an install! You look gorgeous, BTW.

I love it. What kind of hair did you use?

I used Goddess Remi Human Hair. I got it in 10' and 12' since my stylist was going to cut and layer anyways. I like it a lot and I just recently discovered it's reusable. It's semi textured looking so it looks more natural than some super silky hair I saw out there. I couldn't do the uber silky hair, esp since I'm natural. I needed something to match the best with my texture when my hair is flat ironed.

They cost $59 and $69 respectively. I believe that's the regular prices in majority of places, so if something is way cheaper or way more expensive then it's probably different. It's in a red and gold packaging.

For the style, I used my flat iron to add some more faux layers to it

that looks amazing!! i want to get a sew-in but i want the guarantee that it will come out as nice as this.

I don't understand why you felt self-consious about it. I think it's beautiful and looks natural.:gorgeous:

Please make sure when you take it down that you completely detangle your hair BEFORE washing. I don't want you to have a set back.

Very Pretty! Nothing to be self conscious about. My sew-in is cut similar to that style if you go to my profile album. HHG!!!

I like it, it looks really nice. And I love Goddess Remi, when I used I did not shed any hair for 5 weeks!

ETA - Be careful with the hair left out though. My sis is natural and often gets sew-ins where she leaves the front out and now she has heat damage. The front doesn't curl back up with the rest of her hair.

Your hair looks very nice. Did you purchase the hair from the beauty supply store or online? If online, what vendor. sorry for all the questions, but I really want to try this hair for my next install.

girl that style is fierce on you!!! I dont know what your issue is. As a matter of fact, can i borrow your pic to ask my stylist to cut my bangs like yours? :look: i'm almost MBL, haven't had a cut in like 1yr and I am DEAD TIRED of bunning so i'm looking for a fresh cute style...
