There are many salon products which say that it is you should not buy their products from any merchant outside of a salon (Paul Mitchell being one of the most vocal about this). Why is it, though, that stores like Giant can get away with selling the products. Are these substandard products, are they illegal?
Also, back in the day, many salon products such as lye relaxers required a license for purchase. I notice now that many BSS sell them without checking for anything.
How is this acceptable?
