Okay..I am feeling really frustrated with my hair. I dunno what to do with it anymore. For a while I was rocking the short bob look..now I'm not wearing because I don't want to use heat. I haven't tried to rollerset..because I'm scared I'm going to look like a poodle. Now I'm just wearing a phony pony. Am I the only one who feels so blah about their hair..that they just WISH they can cut it all off? I'm going to predict most of yall think homegirl has lost it COMPLETELY!

I think everyone goes through periods like that. Just don't forget there's a REASON you're not rocking the super sleek bob look. It's because 6 months or a year from now your hair will be so much fuller and healthier from not using heat. Always keep the big picture in mind.

I surely wanted to bust a cap in my strands the other day so dont feel bad you will be just fine

you are not by yourself. i am going to try my best to not go that route this time and figure out how and what i am going to do with my hair. i am dcing my hair now and i am sitting. plotting and planning my next move. i think i am going to try to cornrow my hair and wear a wig for awhile. i need to hide my hair from me asap before i damage it any further or cut it off. maybe you can get some braids to take your mind off of cutting it? it is so hard to find someone to braid my hair though. i know people that can do it, but nobody wants to be bothered. i am just not feeling trying to grow my hair out on my own, but i am going to have to or bust!

so many women on this board have really done a good job with getting their hair back in order. i know we can do it too! just believe! lol!

omgoodness:lachen:

but i have been having some strong shaving urges myself. i hate my hair right now, just hang in there girlie.

Naw. I never want to do that. I love my hair, just the way it is, even on so called bad hair days.

I don't know what y'all are talkin about. Cut it all off? Nah. Lol

Now I was just thinking the same thing. Can't I just BC it? I'm sure I have the face to pull it off. . . I just need to start overrrr!

But for now I'm just gonna try to keep going. I hope you can do the same!

When I would roller set mine with bigger rollers it wasn't a poodle problem. But the tiny to small ones.... Sometimes made me look like one. Try maybe a wet set with bigger curls I use dto adore those and rocked ah headband or silk one

If you want to LOL!

I have been thinking about getting a fresh shave for the summer. Not for a BC or anything like that, just because I think I would make a fly a** baldie!

I have been tempted to get that Estelle haircut. The one with one side shaved...but all of my friends were like "Eh, we thought you were GROWING your hair!?"

Then I remembered and said nevermind...I still might do it though after my graduation next summer:look:

I'm about to BC, I'm excited about it and looking forward to it. Along with all the wonderful responses from the ladies here, let me add--- Be encouraged!

I can relate to wanting to shave my hair off. Especially when I was trying to transition. And then I did the big chop and now I'm staring in the mirror wondering when my twa will grow into a baa.

Try big rollers and that should keep you away from looking like a poodle. If it's still too big for your taste, try wrapping afterwards.

You may also want to try the saran wrap treatment and see if that works. It's supposed to give similar results to a flat iron without the damage. Here's a YT clip that shows you how to do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDOPWlDylV4

I have been feeling that way about my hair. But I just trimmed my hair and it looks great and I am happy. I thought when I put those scissors in my hand I was going to cut off like 4 inches but I chickened out and just cut of about an inch. My hair is thanking me for it.
