I thought it would be a great idea to gather a list of links/threads that could be a starting point for all the newbies (myself included) as well as favorite links/threads that have helped you out.

Are there any threads that explain the different hair processes/techniques? I have been searching to see if I can find what a dominican blowout is, how it differs from just blow drying but all I find are threads in reference to it, nothing actually explaining the actual process. TIA
