Right, I wanna change it up a little, been slacking on the hair care front and Aubrey Organics isn't doing it for me anymore (not that it ever did, really)

Before you scream out in despair, I did use the search function, and actually came up with a whole list of conditioners i wanna try, but they're all American and shipping costs are ridiculous

Soooo, UK ladies, what deep conditioners are you using?
And if you are using American ones (e.g. Silicon Mix, Nexxux, Silk Elements) where are you getting them from?

Thanks in advance!

Currently trying Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair mask. It's pretty good.
Or have you tired Organix? Some of them are easier to find than others but they are cheap if you can find them

MixedGirl Ah i see, that's how i tried to find all the other ones i wanted but postage was a joke.
I'll look into the two you've mentioned, thank you!

I've found Nexxus and macadamia products in a couple of beauty shops in London, there was a good one in West London.. I dunno if that's any good for you? I'll try and find out the name etc

You can find nexxus and phyto organics in a lot black hair shops (behind the counter sometimes lol) and salons. I like joico too :)

Yeah same! I occasionally venture to Pak's in Finsbury, but I dont think i've come across any of the conditioners i'm looking for.
May have to look a bit harder next time

@ Louisex3

I use various conditioners but my favourites (and cheapies) are LeKair cholesterol and Tresemme Naturals. I have thick 4b/b natural hair and slather these conditioners in my dry hair and steam or leave in overnight with a showercap and head scarf. When my hair has come out of braids I use olive oil (check Lidls, 99p stores etc...) before combing or washing and again slather it on and do a deep condition overnight - I then detangle and wash. I have very good results - soft strong hair with minimum of hair loss and no matting!
All of these are a good price and Tresemme is found in Superdrugs, Boots as well as many of the supermarkets.
I do like some of the american conditioners but to be honest you can get very good results from using products sold here in the UK.
I have found Keracare conditioners are good as is Nunaat deep moisturising conditioner - you use less of the product but then the cost is more.

In addition to British Curlies there are online stores in the Netherlands and France that ship cheaply to the UK. The online brands have listings for international retailers. Another not so perfect alternative is http://www.aveyou.com/. They ship at a flat rate regardless of weight and have a fair number of brands. It might be cheaper to buy from them given the price, discounts (15% off or $25 off $100,) and variability you get from just one store.

Aphogee 2 min, Le Kairs Cholesterol and ORS Replenishing Conditioners are reliably good. They're not too expensive and widely available from black hair shops. If you're having difficulty because you're out in the stix and finding a black hair shop is I would suggest shopping online at Paks (shipping isnt too bad, starts at 2 quid). they have the BIG bottles too
Or boots actually, they carry the ors line, but the price is jacked up.

Lookfantastic.com - British based website; free international shipping, salon brands including MorroccanOil, macadamia, redken, chi, Nexxus, joico, etc and black brands such as keracare and mizani.

Yep. Look fantastic & British curlies are great websites to check. Also check out good old Amazon.

Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm. Hands down the best deep conditioner I've ever used. You can get it from www.lookfantastic.com. Shipping is free.

ETA: Ah - I see the website's been mentioned :yep:.

Elasta QP Fortifying Conditioning Treatment (I think that's what the name is) is also a decent conditioner. I turn it into a DC by adding oils, honey and molasses. Very effective.
