I don't use one, but make sure you get a step down convertor (for the voltage) not just one that changes the plug.

...can help there cos i recently got a new PDA sent to me and couldnt figure out how on earth it was supposed to be charged when it wouldnt ......(stops self.... i digress)

There is a good one at Argos. Check the catalogues under travel adaptors. I think it costs about £6.

Ope this helps:lachen:

I am also looking,

I have an adapter so its fits our plug, but WE need a convertor because of the different voltage.

Do a google search I am sure there will be one there, I will do the same as well and c what we can find

Can i have brand names/makes cos i dont know exactly what Im looking for, thanks...

I got a mini glide (which is rank and i dont use anymore coz it's got no temp control & those pins just rip my hair). I think it either came with a converter or was made for international use coz my electrician said it was ok for use here & i got it on ebay.

Sorry can I hijack this thread for a second? :look: I've been wanting to get hold of the London/Uk ladies for a while to arrange a meet up. It's been long overdue. I'm gonna post in the 'Long Hair Care Forum Area Meetings' if anyone's interested.

Sorry............

When would this meet-up take place? I'm going back to London pretty soon, so if I'm there when the meet-up happens, I want to go!

I've bought some electrical appliances from the States that automaticly convert to our voltage.
It usually says on the fine print on the handle....
