I can't search so excuse me if this has been addressed, I went to a stylist the other day and she wanted to correct my two textured hair but applying a perm on the four inches of hair that was relaxed by someone that didn't know what she was doing. she said it wouldn't damage my hair since it's so severly under processed, it doesn't show when I get a blowout but when I wash my hair it shows. What do you guys think, has this happened to anyone else.

its called a "corrective retouch." I heard of it being done and applied to the entire shaft. You would apply the relaxer to the NG only. During the last 5 mins of processing time you would then apply the relaxer to the underprocessed hair. It is a process that by NO MEANS should be done on a regular basis, only in an extreme situation. I have never presonally done it, but I've heard ladies say that they have done it without negative results. Hopefully someone will post who has done it before.

thank you ladies, I think I do want to get this done it would help when i set my hair the part that needs correcting doesn't hold curls well.
