How much do they cost in your area... and how long do they usually last?

I'm doing a month long bootcamp workout thing. I plan on rinsing daily and shampooing weekly (only putting poo right at the scalp).

How long do you think they will last?

Thanks in advance!

Well, they're free where I live coz I do them myself. :P And when you wash them, some unravel and need to be retwisted. So you would do well to learn how to twist so you can touch up any that unravel. A few washes do make them messy, but if you're using a squeezing motion to wash them, they may look good for quite a while. I imagine if you're washing once a week and can retwist any that come out, and if you tie them up at night, they might last you two weeks? I'm only guessing as I washed mine more frequently touching them up as needed so I really couldn't say how long they would've lasted had I not been touching them up. If they get really bad, you can do a twist-out and wear that for a few days.

My roommate paid $60 for hers. I know at the african shop I was going to, they were $60 as well. I would think they last about a month. I read on another board that if you wash with a stocking cap it helps.
