Twists

When getting twists in your hair whether it's double stranded or the coil twists that are done w/ the end of a comb, does your hair have to be natural?

I was always told that twists could only be done on natural hair, how true is this?

Not true. My hair is slightly texturized and I can still twist my hair . And it looks natural too! I guess because my hair is very thick and healthy...
