Hey guys anyone got any ideas on how to make my twists stay twisted maybe without rubber bands?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

The last set I did, I used cut pieces of drinking straws and bobby pins to set the ends of my twists in tight curls. They lasted a week this way :yep:.

It didn't work for me, but using a roller to curl up the end of the twists. If all else fails, use some brown gel and put a scrunchie on the ends to make a twist bun.

Hi, newbie here, long time lurker.
I'm relaxed and what works great for me is the 3 strand twist.
The twist stays closed without the use of a rubber band.

Can anyone post pictures of their twists? TIA

Check my fotki under my last transition and BC page. I was able to do flat twists.

when i did flat twists on my mom during her transition i used blue perm rods (the smallest ones) and they stayed very nicely. when i did two-strand twists i used straws and bobby pins.

lol i forgot i asked this question. thanks for bumping!
