twists and relaxed hair

hey ladies have you ever or would you ever do twists with no extensions on your head?? im thinking bout doing this sometimes and keeping them in for a week, what do you think?

You will have to rubber band the ends of your hair for twists to hold on str8 hair. But yes they are a great PS for a week!

I'm natural and a week is about how long my twists hold up without becoming a tangled mess!

I do it a lot especially when I stretching, to sort of smooth out the new growth, sometimes I put perm rods on the ends...so I can get a textured look without going natural

I do mine all the time. I don't do anything to my ends. i don't use any gels or anything. Maybe a hair butter.
I do notice that when i wash them some will come a loose i just retwist them.

Now i like regular plaits since they stay longer and don't need re braiding.
