Hello all, I have been reading so many wonderful things about braidouts. I REALLY want to try one. Unfortunately, I can't braid, so I was wondering if someone would PLEASE give me step-by-step directions on how to do a twistout. I would also like to know what products works best when doing them. I want to achieve a loose & soft look. Thanks so much...in advance

You can also take a look on the "How To's " thread. I know there is at least one "How to" cornrow, posted by Peachtree near the end of the thread. I might have, or someone else, posted something there as well having to do with some form of braiding (?). HTH!

Bumped...Edited to add:

My hair dresser uses a setting lotion on my hair before braiding. she then sits me under the dryer for 20 minutes. She also puts rollers on the end of my braids.

I guess due to the moving of the forum and additional posts, here is the new link to the "How To's" thread. Thanks for going thru the trouble of finding it DSD!
