Twist w/ extension tutorial???

Hey y'all,

Can anyone show or tell me how to get my twists w/added hair right? I go through about two rows and took them all out because: 1) hair wouldn't blend 2) couldn't get the extension tight enough or up high enough.

my problem is the point where my own hair ends...and I'm not getting it tight enough either...Once I'm done twisting to the end, and release, the upper part of the twist is thick and loose, and the lower part is tight and compact...I don't know if it's my hair, the way I'm twisting, or what...

ETA: that Sareca and London Diva have done twists on their hair that look pretty damn good. They offer tips, and some instruction, but I THINK (correct, me anyone, if I'm wrong) that they also viewed the Braids by Breslin DVD
