Twist & Loc Gel - on a dry rollerset?

So, I got a blowout to rock a straight style for the next few days (I'm transitioning) but the rainy weather is making my curls fall flat. I'm wondering, if I use some ORS twist & loc gel (or any other sort of gel) while doing a dry rollerset, would that help? Or would it be a disaster?

(I tried using some mousse last night when I rollerset and still ended up with limp curls.)

I would think you would have to start from scratch....I definitely wouldn't put gel on a rollerset....maybe if you flexirodded it with a LITTLE gel, but you would have to re-wet too..
