My hair has a tendency to turn into a fuzz ball. Is there a product or a technique you can recommend? It does this mainly after washing.

good question. i hope some ladies chime in soon. i'm having the same trouble, OP.

Glad to kno I'm not the onli one hving this issue. I want to try Kinky Curly Curling Custard--it clumps the hair together, helps bind moisture to it and defines the curl/coil (so I've seen) but it's EXPENSIVE! :ohwell:

you can try shea butter, that make my curls POP after i co wash and put moisturizer on it. i would never buy expensive curling custard it aint that serious ill take a little frizz and rock it!!

My hair does that when is dry to dead, so i try to moisturize it and seal with oils. Another thing that i do is to use a denman brush, it defines the curls and not leave them fuzzy or frizzy

I don't know about anybody else but I don't think my hair will ever be frizz free...I have so many different textures and some are fine some coarse, some silky some cottony. So unless your hair is uniform it probably will be an endless battle. On the other side keeping your hair moisturize and using a good leave in help me with frizz.

i just accept it. i have a hair type that wouldn't be complete without some frizz, so is all good. i'm not tryin to do all that fightin with my hair cuz i'm lazy. ♥

OP, i detangled with a denman and i think that help me cut down on the frizz a lot. :yep:

but, as a whole, i think frizz just comes with the territory of being natural.

Try shea butter (melted) and add Eco Styler gel over it.
There have been many reviews about the Eco Styler gel being comparable to Kinky Curly Custard. By adding the shea butter to your hair before the gel, your hair will not be hard:angry2: and crunchy:angry2: and stiff:angry2: and dry:angry2: and nasty to touch:angry2: and -- just use something moisturizing before the gel. HTH!

Thanks ladies! Where are u getting your denman brushes? Does the Goody one work just as well? Thanks for the tips. I will try the eco-styler gel and I need to find a good leave-in too.

You're right. Our hair looks to be similar textures and I do have all those textures runnin' through my head. I just want to cut down on some of it because it looks unkempt.
