I watched a stylist give a girl a trim. Her hair is past her shoulder. Majority of the length is in the crown of her head. The stylist would part her hair vertically and measure from the nape up, when she got to the top, she trimmed whatever passed the length of the hair from the nape.
I'm sitting there looking at her cut length off this girl's hair. Of course the top of the hair is longer and once you get to the bottom it's shorter. She cut at one time 2-3 inches off her hair. Is this the way to trim? The hair gets shorter toward the nape, why would she trim her hair in the crown according to this?
